And this is where it was all leading... the Dent is just visible center right, you can make out some of our tracks leading down the slope. There has been about 60cm of fresh snow - the slope is quite sun exposed so there was fresh snow on a crust of about 5cm thickness and a lot of unconsolidated snow down to ground level. (17/2/2005).
